What is CapsCake
CapsCake is a free text application launcher. Its main role is to make the everyday use of the computer faster and easier. CapsCake brings the free text interface that is widely used in Internet search to the Command and Control of the computer. All you have to do it type your request in natural language, without being restricted by a rigid command format. From launching a program to searching the net simply write what you want and CapsCake will do the rest for you.
Using CapsCake you can run Microsoft Windows 7 "like" launching capabilities on Microsoft Windows XP platform.
Many efforts were done in order to make CapsCake small and fast. In order to do so, we used only basic graphics. No cool bitmaps, splash screens or sophisticated user interface.

Launching Software:
Just type the name of the program and that's it. Use the auto-completion for fast typing CapsCake looks for programs, links and batch files to run in your path, program files and current directory.
Opening a document:
Simply type the document name and CapsCake will open it for you.
In order to minimize the list of documents CapsCake displays only the ones last used.
You can also type Open and CapsCake opens the Microsoft Window dialog for you.
The selected file and directory are stored in the CapsCake history for future use.

Use free text for Sending Attachments and URLs. Retrieving, adding and modifying contacts. Setting meetings and adding tasks. Currently supported:
Send email with or without attachments.
Set a meeting (Outlook only).
Set a reminder (Outlook only).
Get contact person data.
Edit / Modify contact person (Outlook only).
Add Task (Outlook only).
Send Text Messages:
Enter the required mobile phone and type the message. CapsCake uses public data in order to locate the Mobile carrier and sends the text message using the carrier email interface. CapsCake SMS feature is Currently supporting the US and Canada only. Please read How To Send SMS
Calculator:
Enter the required calculation and get the result instantly.
Smart Prediction:
CapsCake predicts if the clipboard has data that is relevant to your request. CapsCake looks for needed data on the clipboard. When a new command is issued, CapsCake analyzes the content of the clipboard and acts accordingly
Batch File Recording:
This feature enables recording of scripts and running them. It is also possible to execute a script from other script. In order to record a script,
right click on the CapsCake icon and select the "Batch Recorder" option. Insert the script name in the displayed dialog.
Using CapsCake enter the commands that you want to record. Note that during the recording phase CapsCake will execute each command.
When you finish the batch recording, right click on the CapsCake icon and select the "Stop Batch Recording", wait to the "Batch Recording Done" message.
